More than a handful of people have told me that my stomach is a bottomless pit. And to some extent… I’m almost horrified to say that it is true. It’s probably because I don’t bat my eyelashes when I order—and finish—a 22 ounce rare chuck end rib eye. Or that I once visited San Francisco for a week, with a very carefully planned food itinerary, and went on a straight up food binge. A food trip that consisted of 3 meals a day, with snacks and dessert in between! I’m not joking! Food is serious business.
It all started when I was five, picking leaves, grass, aloe vera and gravel from my garden in the Philippines, and mixing my “ingredients” together with my mortar and pestle. Then when I was a little bit old enough, I’d help out in the kitchen, cleaning seafood and chopping vegetables. My culinary adventure has brought me to a point where I find myself enjoying the entire process of cooking food—from finding the freshest and highest quality ingredients, to cooking and savoring the finished product. And of course, sharing it with family and friends.
Follow me as I share my favorite recipes, dish out some food tips, and post a ton of food photos (my Instagram has gotten out of hand a few times!!). And don’t forget to say hello—send me an email. I would love to hear from you.
