I LOVE this recipe. It’s just too good!!

And what I really love most about it is that you can put everything together in under 5 minutes (minus the baking time).

Naturally, when I decided to make banana bread, I knew it couldn’t be just any on Allrecipes… it had to be Dominique Ansel’s (aka the cronut inventor).

There’s something really comforting about fresh banana bread – I love the smell of it cooking in your oven. Dominique’s recipe is rich, buttery and full of banana, YUM!! The top crust of the bread has a nice crunch to it too. Make this ASAP!

Brown Butter Pecan Ice Cream

Brown butter pecan ice cream.

It doesn’t get any more lavish and indulgent than this!! Brown butter essentially means cooking butter to the point where the water in the butter starts to evaporate and the solids start to brown… Resulting in an AMAZING nutty and subtly sweet butter flavour.

Now take that flavour and combine it with a creamy ice cream base that is rich and at the same time has an amazing texture. Words can’t even describe!!!

Yeah, after the first bite of the brown butter ice cream (and the lightly toasted pecans) I had to stop, head in hand, to take in everything.

I was shocked that my ice cream had a texture that was almost exactly what I’d buy in the store. Pretty thick and creamy. The main difference though is the freshness of ice cream that’s made at home – it’s incomparable to the frozen pints you can buy at the supermarket.

Make this. Now. (And don’t forget to take a walk around the block after).

If you’re like me and you love drinking bubble tea, you may recognize this dish. Taiwanese popcorn chicken is one of my favourite Asian snacks. I LOVE this dish, I am so into everything about it’s fried, crunchy goodness. Not to mention it’s super easy to make.

I’m drooling just thinking about it: juicy, savory, with just a hint of sweetness. The fried Thai basil leaves take it to another level!!!
